The campaign for the 2021 TIARA Recruitment Awards launches today to recognise the industry-leading agencies best demonstrating resilience and adaptability over the last 12 months.
“The Covid-19 crisis hit the recruitment sector hard in 2020, but those best able to optimise their talent, technology, and brand have adapted to take advantage of new ways of working, transacting, and competing for market leadership,” said Alex Evans, Programme Director of TALiNT Partners. “The TIARAs offer a powerful endorsement to TALiNT International’s inhouse and agency audience to not only attract new clients but the industry’s best talent as well.”
Access Group returns as headline partner and sponsor of the Tech Transformation Award with Jason Martin, Head of Strategy re-joining the judging panel.
“Out of adversity has come a lot of benefit,” said Jason Martin. “I’ve seen a lot of organisations review and challenge themselves over the last 12 months and right-sizing in terms of headcount, tech and infrastructure. We have seen a lot of recruiters grow and perform more efficiently than I suspect they would have done without the pandemic to drive it – so I look forward to seeing some great entries this year.”
The TIARAs are distinguished by the rigour of its judging process and the quality of its judging panel. Katie Folwell-Davies, one of the most experienced, successful, and highest profile deal makers in the human capital sector, takes over from Hudson chairman Ian Nash as Chair of Judges for the 2021 TIARA Recruitment Awards.
“I look forward to seeing how the best in the industry have adapted to the challenges and opportunities of the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Katie, former head of Deloitte’s Human Capital Services M&A practice and newly appointed Investment Partner at Twenty20 Capital.
The TIARA judging panel is distinguished by some of the industry’s leading executives, NEDs, and chairmen alongside heads of TA and HR from some of the world’s largest employers. “TALiNT Partners is unique in that we cover the whole talent ecosystem, and the TIARA judges reflect that breadth of perspectives,” said TALiNT Partners MD Ken Brotherston. “This gives us insight into the changing needs of employers and what’s relevant for the best and most forward-thinking recruitment companies.”
A new online award platform has been introduced to make it easier to compile entries and for judges to provide valuable feedback to all those shortlisted.
The entry deadline for the 2021 TIARAs is 25th June. Finalists will be announced on 9th July and winners will be crowned on 20th October at a Gala Dinner for recruitment leaders at The Brewery in London.
The TIARA 2021 campaign is supported by Access Group as headline partner and award sponsors including: 6CATS International, Clearwater International, Fore:Two Group, Gambit Corporate Finance, Grant Thornton, Mishcon de Reya, Odro, Parasol Group, PurePro, Saffery Champness, SourceBreaker, and Twenty20 Capital.
