16th October 2019 – The winners of the 2019 TALiNT International Annual Recruitment Awards (TIARAs) were revealed last night at a gala dinner attended by 550 CEOs and senior executives from the UK’s top 500 recruitment companies.

The combined turnover of all 63 finalists represented this year is over £7 billion, with over 10,000 talented people employed by these market leading agencies.

“It was fantastic to see the best in UK recruitment supporting the TIARAs this year, with a great shortlist for our expanded judging panel,” said Alex Evans, Programme Director of TALiNT Partners, who hosted the evening alongside awards founder David Head and TALiNT International editor, Becky Wilson. “All of those recognised will be profiled in the November issue of TALiNT International to inspire the wider industry and provide an insight into what impressed judges.”

With 15 trophies presented, and 8 companies receiving high commendations, the biggest winners on the night were Oliver James Associates, NES Global Talent and La Fosse Associates – who won 8 awards between them.

Commenting on the standard of the shortlist this year, Ian Nash, TIARA chair of judges, said: “Everybody wants to see what the best is in their industry, and in the TIARA’s we got some excellent entries, some excellent businesses, and I think people are going to be very impressed by the winners this year.”

This point was echoed by Jason Martin, Head of Strategy at Access Group, headline partner of the TIARAs. “I’ve been a judge for several years now and the entries were of a really high standard this year for each of the Best Recruitment Company to Work For categories,” he said. “What stood out was the investment in learning and development within the recruitment sector which has gone up a level this year. You can really see the link between growth and an investment in learning and employee benefits.”
