July 23, 2020 – TALiNT Partners today announces the shortlist for the TALiNT International Annual Recruitment Awards (TIARAs), which recognise excellence, innovation, and growth in the UK’s top recruitment firms.
“Despite the impact of COVID-19 on the recruitment sector, the TIARA team was determined to recognise the industry’s top performers to ensure the best possible shortlist for 2020,” said Alex Evans, Programme Director of TALiNT Partners. “We are proud to announce 40 of the UK’s top recruiters as finalists in 15 award categories with a combined turnover of £8.99 billion, NFI of £1.4 billion, and 26,444 employees.”
While some of last year’s winners have returned to defend their title – including NES Global Talent, Oscar, Sigmar, La Fosse Associates and Oliver James Associates – new challengers for top honours this year include Adecco, Airswift, Gazelle Global, Opus Talent Solutions and NHS Professionals.
“It’s great to see the cream of the UK recruitment industry taking part in the 2020 TIARA Recruitment Awards, with the diversity and quality of finalists representing those leading the evolution of the sector,” said Chair of Judges Ian Nash. “The pandemic has provided the ultimate test for the recruitment sector and this year’s finalists were best prepared to weather the storm because of how they have invested in technology, training, and transformation.”
Transformation has been the core theme of the 2020 TIARA campaign to recognise those recruiters who have upskilled consultants to deliver more value to clients and candidates.

The TIARA judging panel is distinguished by some of the industry’s leading executives, NEDs and chairmen, including Giles Daubeney, Former Deputy CEO of Robert Walters; Miles Hunt, Chairman of Cobalt; and David Higgins, Chairman of RPI. New additions to the judging panel this year include Gary Elden OBE, former CEO of SThree, and Prof Emma Parry, Head of Changing World of Work at Cranfield School of Management.
