Visionary leadership, profit with purpose, and international growth recognised at the 2024 TIARA Recruitment Awards

Wednesday 16th October 2024 – Winners of the 2024 TIARA UK & Ireland Recruitment Awards were revealed at a Gala Dinner at The Royal Lancaster in London today, attended by CEOs and senior executives from the best in the UK staffing sector. 

“With a combined UK&I turnover of £6.7 billion, and collectively employing 30,000 talented people, the staffing firms shortlisted in 16 categories this year represent the UK’s recruitment partners and employers of choice,” said Alex Evans, MD at TALiNT Partners. “From the challengers that have quickly built the foundations for sustained scale to established market leaders that are still innovating and adapting, the best in the staffing sector were recognised as an inspiration to the rest.”  

The biggest winners on the night were Amoria Group (Growth and Best Recruitment Company to Work For with revenues over £100m), Engage Partners (Best Use of Technology and Temporary Recruitment Company of the Year), Morgan Hunt (Business Services Team of the Year and Innovation Award) and VHR  (Specialist Up to £50M and International Recruitment Company of the Year), who all won double honours. 

New entrants who triumphed this year included Bridge of Hope Careers (Scale Up Recruitment Company of the Year), Tile Hill (Candidate Experience Award) and TeacherActive (Specialist Over £50M.) 

Top individual honours went to Recruitment Leader of the Year Matthew Wragg, CEO of Gattaca, for the breadth and speed of his impact as a CEO in a large organisation who has embodied and championed its employer brand. 

Mark Cahill, MD of Manpower Group, was also honoured for an impressive career and impactful leadership over two decades, and presented with the 2024 Mercury Hall of Fame Award.
