TALiNT Partners today announces the finalists for the 2023 TIARA UK&I Recruitment Awards, with 70 of the UK’s best staffing firms shortlisted in 16 award categories.
“The best recruiters in the sector have defied recession and adapted to a more challenging economic environment by investing in the right talent, optimising technology and differentiated their client and candidate service to compete more successfully,” said Alex Evans, Managing Director of TALiNT Partners. “With a combined turnover of over £31 billion, and collectively employing 25,521 talented people, the 70 shortlisted staffing firms represent the UK & Ireland’s most resilient recruiters at the forefront of the sector’s transformation.”
We can’t wait to celebrate the crowning achievements of the best in the industry who are championing recruitment as a professional service, attracting more diverse talent and new skills and demonstrating the vital role it plays as the engine of economic growth.
The TIARA Recruitment Awards Ceremony will take place in person at a Gala Dinner for 500 leaders at The Brewery in London on Wednesday 18th October – where this year’s Hall of Fame winner will be announced and honoured by peers.
While some of last year’s winners have returned to defend their title – including multiple award winners NES Fircroft, Seven Resourcing and Opus Talent Solutions – new challengers for top honours this year include Extrastaff, SR2, and Gattaca.
“It’s great to see so many of the industry’s biggest brands and most successful challengers taking part in the 2023 TIARA UK&I Recruitment Awards,” said Chair of Judges Katie Folwell-Davies, Investment Partner at Twenty20 Capital. “These market leading firms are an inspiration to the sector, not only proving the success of new models and services but the return on investment in talent and technology to adapt to new client, candidate and consultant expectations.”
Transformation, resilience and inclusion are key themes underpinning the 2023 TIARA Recruitment Awards campaign, with questions related to DEI and long-term growth built into every award category this year.
“Last year we saw a lot of new challengers in the shortlist who won TIARAs, so it’s great to see more new names coming through in the 2023 campaign,” said Jason Martin, Head of Strategy at Access Recruitment, Headline Partner of the TIARAs. “It’s always impressive when past winners show that they’re still going above and beyond, being innovative and setting a great example as well. As always, I’ll be looking at how the best are using tech and automation to enable their business.”
Fellow judge Mark Kieve, CEO of Pixid and Campaign Partner of this year’s TIARAs, added that he will be looking for: “The best balance of tech and talent to deliver improvement but also how teams are uniting behind a shared purpose and goal – whether it’s to be the best recruiter in their market specialism or to transform recruitment with new models, solutions or approaches.”
The TIARA judging panel is distinguished by some of the industry’s leading executives, NEDs and chairmen alongside leading experts, advisors and corporate heads of HR and TA.
The TIARA 2023 campaign is supported by Headline Partner Access Recruitment, Campaign Partner Pixid and supporting sponsors including: Sonovate, Vincere, ForeTwo Group, WorkWell, Qdos, 6CATS, Grant Thornton, Parasol Group, Sourcewhale, Twenty20 Capital, Saffery Champness, Blackwood Capital, Mishcon de Reya and Mercury.
